ATS was contract by Martin Brothers Construction to install an active treatment system for the stormwater runoff from the haul road of the Folsom Dam and the adjacent areas. The stormwater was treated for turbidity using Chitosan Enhanced Sand Filtration.
ATS set up a system that collect the site runoff and conveyed it to the active treatment system where it underwent pre-treatments. ATS also trained personnel from Martin Brothers Construction to as ATS operators. During the winter of 2010-2011 over 3.2 million gallons was treated and discharged.
